Sanoja Kikkeri is a junior at BASIS Independent Silicon Valley. From a very young age, Sanoja has been drawn towards fine arts. At the age of six, she started learning Carnatic Indian classical music and the Indian classical dance form - Bharatanatyam.
She started taking art classes at the age of twelve at Almaden School of Music and Art. Sanoja says, “Art has given me the opportunity to explore my creative side. It fascinates me to see a few simple lines being turned into a beautiful, vibrant flower. Art has rewarded me with the skill of patience and the opportunity to channel all my feelings into a brush and envisioning that anything can come true on a canvas.”
One day she hopes to open her own art gallery displaying all of her artworks. In addition to art, Sanoja has won awards for her accomplishments in the computer science field. In her free time, Sanoja likes to read books, hang out with friends, and watch the Golden State Warriors on TV.
