Justin Liu is a guitar and electric bass teacher from San Jose, California. He graduated from California Polytechnic State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Electric Bass Performance. Once a student at the Almaden School of Music and Arts, Justin has been playing guitar, bass and drums for over 15 years. He has experience playing in school jazz bands from the junior high to collegiate level and performing in various rock, funk and soul ensembles. Mr. Liu has also taken several music theory courses and is interested in tutoring music theory. In his free time, Justin enjoys recording and editing guitar videos as music production is another interest of his. He believes that most importantly, music should be fun. So, he tries his best to make lessons easy-going yet efficient to ultimately help students to become better musicians. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Song requests are very much welcome as they can be great practice for lessons |
