Playing and studying the piano since the age of 5, Soroosh has over 10 years of teaching experience, as well as a BS in Audio Technology from Cogswell Polytechnical University and an AA in music from Foothill and De Anza College.

Soroosh is an active member of Music Teachers’ Association of California. has experience in music production (sound design, drum programming and live recording), has composed music for small business ads/commercials, and produced music for 5 California-based artists. When not teaching, you can catch Soroosh performing on stage with the live band he leads, as vocalist and keyboardist.  

​Soroosh believes that learning an instrument is richly rewarding, and is dedicated to providing lessons that are both fun and educational. He works with all ages, preschool through adult. If you are looking to play the piano, he can provide a curriculum that is well organized, easy to follow, and yields real results

​Soroosh's philosophy as a teacher is that, first and foremost, music is FUN. While uncompromising on technique and theory, he believes it's essential to present them in a way that feels relevant and exciting. He also believes that every student should be able to read music. Quite a few of his students take the Guild and the Certificate of Merit Exams.
